Why Donate?

Socks are the number one requested item in homless shelters across the country. Many homeless people walk miles per day in order to survive, leaving their socks threadbare and damp.
There are an estimated 5,570 homeless people in the Sacramento County including veterans, teens, and families. If everyone reading this donated just one pair of socks we would go a long way in warming the homeless community this holiday season.

How to Help

From now through December 24th Sock Santa will be accepting your new and gently used socks that will be distributed to the homeless in Sacramento on December 25th, Christmas day.

Please consider donating as many pairs as you can – it gets cold out there this time of year. For more information on how to donate, see the Donate page by clicking on the button below.
